Rubber band bug

SUMMARY
Sometimes, when a rubber band selection is made over an item, it will not clear up when the item was deleted. The selection just stays even when the left mouse button is no longer being held down.
This happens somewhat irregularly and I wasn't able to figure out under which circumstances this bug appears and when not.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make a rubber band selection containing one item
2. Delete the item with the delete key
3. The selection is still there when releasing the left mouse button

OBSERVED RESULT
Selection stays

EXPECTED RESULT
Selection should vanish

Thank you for the bug report, and I'm sorry we weren't able to look into it yet. A lot has changed since it was reported, and I can't reproduce this in today's git master (which will eventually be Plasma 6.5) after a few attempts. Looks like it's fixed now.

Feel free to re-open this issue if you can still reproduce it after upgrading to Plasma 6.5, though.

Thanks again!
