Sorry, report was send before I was ready.

This is a minor error and Krita itself keeps running. The image is loaded, but not scaled to the canvas size.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1 activate this docker
2 activate Fit Canvas
3 load image

OBSERVED RESULT
Error window/message

EXPECTED RESULT
image being loaded and scaled to canvas size

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is Krita 5 specific. It does not happen in 4.4.8

Just noticed that a new version of Photobash was implemented and with that the reported issue is now gone.

Closing this one.
