Description Erica Z 2021-12-17 19:06:52 UTC
SUMMARY
When playing a radio station, the "Toggle Play and Pause" button is enabled just like with any local track. However, pressing it has no visible effect.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Play any radio station, creating it if needed.
2. Click on the "pause" button.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Unsure, see additional information.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Void Linux x86_64 (glibc)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Having such button available for audio streams could be useful as a shortcut to effectively mute/unmute or even disconnect/reconnect to the stream, as actual pause/play functionality makes little sense in this case. Another alternative would be having the button disabled in the first place.

Neither MP3-Files nor radios streams are possible to play. After pressing the play button nothing happens.

I agree, when playing a stream it should be a stop button, not pause.

@ Robert that is a different issue to the one described here, if you're still experiencing it, please file a new bug report so the team can investigate.
