Click on Help -> Check for New Version. Online Version Checker is launched. 3. Online Version Checker shows that new version is available - 7.4.0 Press Download to get the file. 4. Click on Download button OBSERVED RESULT 5. Error is displayed: "Error transferring https://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/7.4.0/digikam-7.4.0-Win64.exe.sha256 - server replied Not Found" EXPECTED RESULT New version to be downloaded and installed. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 6. The file (with the .sha256 extension) does not exist on the website.
This problem was fixed only with 7.4.0 release. upgrading 7.3.0 to 7.4.0 is problematic (note the typo in file name "digikam" -> "digiKam") Gilles Caulier
