SUMMARY

Wayland session does not start from SDDM or from cmdline.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. from SDDM select Wayland session
2. login

OBSERVED RESULT
After many attempt with a black screen, it's back to SDDM.

EXPECTED RESULT
I'm logged on a running Wayland session.

KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4

I believe it should be fixed with https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/14049

It would be great if somebody running mesa from git master could confirm that this issue is indeed fixed.

Sorry for the delay, but I managed to try again using mesa 21.3.3, that contains the needed commit.

Now, the session is running, yes!
But… plasmashell seems frozen, no panel available, it crashes, then a panel appears but frozen also.
Still, I'm able to run some applications without problem (Konsole, Firefox, Dolphin, etc.) using shortcuts.
Only plasmashell is not happy (I did not found anything else yet).

Then this bug is fixed, talking of any other issues only muddies the issue.

Yes of course, I will create another bug, that was the plan (Now, I need time to do it!).
