when accessing certain sites scrolling in Konqueror is extremely slow.
Everything seems to freeze for several seconds.


in particular the following site causes problems.  It is ok with Mozilla a=
nd=20
Internet Explorer.

The news ticker (the horizontally scrolling text in the middle of the page) is the reason for the 
slowness. Everytime this object is getting moved, the whole page is relayouted 
(which even leads to a huge flicker). Sounds like a rendering problem...
