Created attachment 144482 [details] message dialogue SUMMARY /tmp/specatcle.x/ opens when clicking "Open Containing Folder" after taking a second screenshot that is not saved yet when the "saved message" (see attachment ) after the first screenshot is not closed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Take a screenshot 2. Save it 3. Do *not* close the message "The screenshot was saved as whatever.png [Open Containing Folder] [x]" 4. Take another screenshot but don't save it yet 5. Click Open Containing Folder in the previous message OBSERVED RESULT /tmp/Spectacle.aUQbYR (for example) opens with the new screenshot despite the message showing the filename of the first screenshot EXPECTED RESULT The folder that contains the screenshot with the corresponding filename opens SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
I'm unable to replicate this issue, can you please test and confirm if the issue still occurs for you?

But something I didn't notice when i made the bug report: it only happens when i take the screenshots with the print screen key, as that keeps the "The screenshot was saved as whatever.png [Open Containing Folder] [x]" message open. On Arch with everything up to date.

This is technically fixed since the old message is no longer around after taking a new screenshot.
