Dear KDE developers, when using plasma I often find myself in a situation where I want to close multiple windows or move them to a different virtual desktop using the task manager at once. (note: I refer to the non-icon-only task manager) Unfortunately I have not found a way to achieve this. Therefore I propose to add the ability of Ctrl+clicking multiple windows in the task manager for selecting them (like one can select multiple files in dolphin using this shortcut) and make it possible to right click the selection for then using a tooltip to choose an action to be performed on those windows (e.g. close, move to virtual desktop / activity). I believe that I am not the only one whose workflow would be improved by this feature. Thanks Marcel P.S.: If this functionality already exists, it would be nice if someone could tell me the shortcut or how to enable it. The Task Manager doesn't really have any kind of selection model or UI at all, so I think bolting this onto it would be quite strange. No can do, sorry.

No can do, > sorry. That's unfortunate but understandable. My thought was that because the task manager already allowed closing multiple windows of one program (if they are grouped) it would be easy to extend this onto arbitrary windows. Of course I did not think about the need to implement a selection model for this :-/ (Nevertheless I think that being able to select and close multiple windows at once is a useful feature. Maybe it would be a suitable feature for the new overview effect....) Have a nice day Marcel
