SUMMARY
If you type fast enough in the emoji picker, it will miss keystrokes. This happens to me quite routinely.
Likely caused by loading too many emoji hits at once.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch the emoji picker, but don't press Ctrl+F yet
2. Type "left" rapidly

OBSERVED RESULT
"lt" in the incremental search field

EXPECTED RESULT
"left"
