Media menu is not complete

Hello,

as far I understand the solution for bug id=444444 and the "The Krusader Handbook", chapter 10.2.5 Media Menu
I can select the following Media button menu contents:
• Show Mount Path:
• Show File System Type:
• Hide SquashFS entries: Snap creates many SquashFS-mounted partitions, which are almost
useless in the Media Menu, because snap manages them. It is possible to hide SquashFS
mounts by checking this item.
• Hide following mountpoints:
• Show Size:

But as you can see at the screenshot I can't see all the options.
How can I get the option "Hide SquashFS entries"?
(I hope I'm in the correct menu, because unfortunately I can't change the language to English (see bug id=443989).)

System: Ubuntu 20.04 on a Dell notebook.

Thanks

Hello, is your problem the same one as:
    - [Hide loop partitions / snaps in Krusader](https://askubuntu.com/questions/1109715/hide-loop-partitions-snaps-in-krusader/1248793?noredirect=1#comment2299593_1248793)
    - [Drop down menu for drives is shoving snaps](https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=444444)
?

In that case: Can you follow the steps of
    https://commits.kde.org/krusader?path=INSTALL
in order to build the git version of Krusader and tell us if your problem is solved?

No it's not the same as in bug id 444444. Instead, it's for solving this problem 444444.
The solution is printed in "The Krusader Handbook", chapter 10.2.5:

 "10.2.5 Media Menu
Using this tab you can select the Media button menu contents:
• Show Mount Path: show the mount path of partition if checked.
• Show File System Type: show the file system type of partition if checked.
• Hide SquashFS entries: Snap creates many SquashFS-mounted partitions, which are almost
useless in the Media Menu, because snap manages them. It is possible to hide SquashFS
mounts by checking this item.
• Hide following mountpoints: this list allows to exclude unwanted items from Media Menu.
Press the + button above the list to add some mount point you want to ignore. Should you
decide to remove the added mount point from the list just click on it and press the - button.
• Show Size: allows selection of the size representation in media menu. Can be Always (default,
always show the size of partition), When Device has no Label (show the size for partitions
with no label only) or Never (never show the size in media menu)."

But as you can see, the screenshot is showing only 3 of the 5 options which are mentioned in chapter 10.2.5.
How can I get the other options?

> How can I get the other options?
Those options can be seen when using the git version of Krusader (it's talked about that on https://askubuntu.com/questions/1109715/hide-loop-partitions-snaps-in-krusader/1248793#1248793).
Can you follow the steps of
    https://commits.kde.org/krusader?path=INSTALL
in order to build the git version of Krusader and tell us if your problem is solved?

Sorry, but I'm just a simple user. I can't follow such cryptic instructions.

Tests were performed with the git version of Krusader, but the problem was not seen there. That version of Krusader has the improvements of <https://invent.kde.org/utilities/krusader/-/commit/9d80bd9f4d8251550a1311c4851de7fa919a104e>, where more information can be found.

If someone sees that problem using the git version of Krusader, please feel free to reopen this bug report.
