Description ita84aa 2021-12-03 10:32:00 UTC
SUMMARY
I have "Button events handling" enabled and the action set to Sleep for "When laptop lid closed", while "Even when an external monitor is connected" is unchecked; this works correctly on Plasma X11 (closing the laptop lid doesn't cause Sleep if my external monitor is connected), but on Plasma Wayland it doesn't

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start a Plasma Wayland session on a laptop with an external monitor connected and set it to output to the external monitor only, but leave the laptop open
2. In System Settings - Power Management - Energy Saving, set the above configuration in the On AC Power profile and save
3. Close the laptop lid

OBSERVED RESULT
The laptop goes to Sleep mode

EXPECTED RESULT
Nothing should happen

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: ArchLinux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.12.2
