SUMMARY

Save file corrupted with latest appimage. Have had this happen three times now. Multiple hours worth of work lost. Deadline missed. 
***


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create project add clips with simple wipe affects
2. Save project
3. Reopen kdenlive, Open project

OBSERVED RESULT
Wipes in the wrong places, missing clips, clips not the correct length

EXPECTED RESULT
I EXPECTED THE F*CKING THING TO SAVE ITS OWN DATA PROPERLY!!!!!

Thanks for your report! First of all please note that Kdenlive is completely developed by very few volunteers spending there free time on it. I kindly ask you to keep this in mind as well as the KDE Code of Conduct (https://kde.org/code-of-conduct/)

However we are sorry about this issue and the trouble it caused for you. Happily I can tell you that this should be fixed with version 21.12.0 that is out now (https://kdenlive.org/en/2021/12/kdenlive-21-12-is-out/)

Feel free to reopen this report if you face similar issues again, since bug reports like yours are very important to recognize bugs and regressions!

My frustrations got the better of me and for that I apologize. I’ve used KDenlive for years and really appreciate everything the community has done to maintain it. I probably should have waited a bit before posting the bug, but glad to see that it is fixed!
