STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. right-click on KDE Connect icon in system tray and choose 'KDE Connect Settings..."
2. select a paired device
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
icon of the selected device became a white square. Please see the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT
the icon of the selected device should not become a white square

I can reproduce for a paired device that has a coloured icon.  Another device I have comes up with a non-coloured icon and does not produce a white box when selected (see attached)

Same after the following steps:
1. pair a computer and an Android phone
2. open Dolphin on the computer
3. right-click on a file, hover over 'Share' and choose 'Send to device...'
4. select your Android phone
