Repeatable with all applications, including KDE-native. The recent files lists aren't updated until you open a different menu and then go back to the one where you right-clicked the icon

Also present in KDE Neon 5.25 w/ Plasma 5.25.3, Firefox 102.0
Can reproduce on neon unstable. Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Can you reproduce the files *never* being cleared, or the files only being cleared after navigating elsewhere and then back (or restarting plasmashell). I can reproduce the latter.
