Created attachment 143925 [details] the system tray shifting itself to the left SUMMARY If I rearrange my desktop so that the system tray displays on the right side in a global menu instead on the task bar, the system tray would shift itself to the left of the global menu upon plasma starting up again, causing it to get in the way of the menu options. This means I would have to reenter into edit mode each time just to move the system tray to the right again where I want it to be. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. From the desktop add the application menu bar (global menu) 2. Add or move the system tray to the right of the application menu bar 3. Restart plasma OBSERVED RESULT The system tray shifts itself to the left despite never being in edit mode EXPECTED RESULT The system tray should of stayed where it was left SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.15.4-arch1-1 (64 bit) KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Is this still happening in Plasma 5.27.4 or later?

(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Is this still happening in Plasma 5.27.4 or later? Hello Nate, Sorry about not getting back to you earlier. I did not revive a email message that you responded earlier until the janitor service sent a reminder. Anyways as of plasma 5.27.4 this is no longer happening, as now no matter what I do when I try to shift the system tray to the right, it would always automatically change itself to the left upon trying it to move it to the right. I noticed I can get around this limitation if I add a spacer between the global menu and the system tray, so I was able to find a work around
Fabulous!
