I created a few panels with sensors separators, titles and all. I saved all the changes and everything looked normally. But after closing and re-opening the system monitor app a few empty elements appeared. I tried to delete those and save and everything looked normal. I then closed and reopened the system monitor app and all of my effort in creating those panels was gone....

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I created a title and a few graphs to have a knowledge of all my disks' partitions rw rate and usage.
2. I deleted the memory panel.
3. I created a title and some per core usage graphs.
4. I moved the locations of these titles and panels.
5. I created a few separators and moved all those to my preference.
6. I saved my configuration.
7. I edited again my configuration to add the sensor "Name" on each core.
8. I saved my configuration.
9. I removed this sensor from each core because I didn't see any valuable info.
10. I saved my configuration.
11. I closed system monitor.
12. I re-opened system monitor.
13. I edited my configuration to delete the abnormal panel.
14. I saved my configuration.
15. I closed system monitor.
16. I opened system monitor.

OBSERVED RESULT
Everything looked normal, after I saved my configuration, but possibly duplicate empty panels appeared after closing and re-opening the app. I tried to delete the abnormal panel but it deleted the normal panel as well.

EXPECTED RESULT
Everything should look exactly the same if you saved your configuration and closed and re-opened the program.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Plasma 6.3.5?

To be honest I think I have solved it after completing removing my config but I don't even remember.... It hasn't happened to me since and I have done way too many updater after I had that issue so I believe right now that the issue doesn't exist...

I also remember something else that was weird in the past when I created them.... I remember dragging a widget on the edge of the screen and then the widget would dissappear as if it was placed somewhere outside of the screen. I again solved that gia config deletion.

However since my monitoring widgets do work I do not want to touch them... 😂 😁

Maybe I should close this bug...
