Created attachment 143839 [details] no-animations SUMMARY The "clear notifications" button doesn't show any animation, so that would be a great idea to do so! STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open up Notifications panel 2. Click on "Clear All Notifications" button OBSERVED RESULT There's no animation. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Graphics Platform: X11
Your screen recording does show that there's an animation; the popup has an animated close effect. Or are you saying that you want two animations: 1. First the notifications in the popup all disappear with an animated effect 2. Then the popup closes with an animated effect

Thanks!

If someone implements it, sure. :)

A possibly simpler alternative would be to clear the list and keep the popup open.
We used to do that, but people complained since the popup was empty after clearing notifications and you had to manually close it, which was an unnecessary extra step.

So if first all notifications are cleared with a smooth animation and then the pop up closes, the problem will be solved right?
Clearing single notifications already has an animation, so it will probably not be too hard to add it to the clear all button, will it?
Hopefully not. Maybe even just a delay before closing the popup would do it.
