STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open kdevelop
2. add "empty" project with kirigami type
3. select all defaults
4. setup git WITHOUT account
5. you land with tons of errors both in app and in code like:
"'QApplication' file not found", "in added file 'QObject' file not found", "unknown type name 'Q_DECL_EXPORT' 
AND ERROR:
"""
unable to set settings for project'x' (error description: exit code : 0). because of this code understanding might be broken.
to fix this bug be sure that project files"CMakeLists.txt" are correct and KDevelop uses correct settings and CMake version. next right click on project element and click "reload".
"""

OBSERVED RESULT

bunch of errors (look at 5 number in previous point)

EXPECTED RESULT

added files: 'QApplication','QUrl','KLocalizedString','KAboutData','QtQml','xconfig.h','version-x.h' and so on...

almost pure kde neon. no addons installed. just opened kdevelop and got this

Hi,

Did You manage to build the app after that errors?

You didn't specify the KDevelop version You are using. I tested on 5.7.211202 and I don't get these errors. I get an error that "testappconfig.h" is missing but after building, the error disappears.

Can You build the Kirigami default app from the terminal, or from KDevelop?

oh my god. after these 3mo i deinstalled k. neon and im on l. mint... i forgot version :'D

and i can say - python version was getting same errors. and if about testing in terminal/other ide - i didnt cause i left development on kde after these bugs (before doing dev) :/

now it came back to my head - yes it was breaking build. but no i already dont have kdevelop version. i wasnt messing up with betas or smth so just check default kdevelop version for this OS i said
