STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select Spanish keybord (with Catalan ·)
2. Type normally
3. Include accented words 

OBSERVED RESULT
An unwanted space appears.

EXPECTED RESULT
No space splitting the accented words.

I am affected as well.

Seems that the physical keyboard or the layouts do not influence.

My layouts in KDE: English (US, intl. with dead keys) and Portuguese (Brazil).

Both layouts fail when using the acute (é) and umlaut/dieresis(ü or ï)  accent:
h ótel hõtel hòtel hôtel h ötel
