Description strangequark 2021-11-17 09:17:05 UTC
SUMMARY
The animations in Kalendar, like the opening of the sidebar and then spinning of the clock when setting the time of an event, don't use the system-wide 'Animation speed' setting.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set the 'Animation speed' slider in System Settings to the far right (Instant)
2. Restart Kalendar
3. Open the sidebar for any event

OBSERVED RESULT
There is an animation

EXPECTED RESULT
There should have been none, because animations were set to instant.

Thanks for the report, I can reproduce but this is a general Kirigami issue with the sidebars.

Moving to this component.
