Created attachment 143621 [details] Video frame capture with time stamp SUMMARY When using Ekos with a video camera with a time stamp added for precise absolute time measurements of astronomical events (i.e. asteroidal occultations https://occultations.org), alignment module don't work because time stamp present in the image. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use a video camera with time stamp, an a video capture device, as camera. 2. Go to alignment module and try to solve for a given field. OBSERVED RESULT Solver fails because time stamp are interpreted as stars EXPECTED RESULT Ignore time stamp and solve SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Not dependent. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a feature request: allow the user to select a rectangular area (excluding time stamp) of the image to be used to solve
