STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add folder /home/tbjers/sync/Music
2. Click on Refresh Music Collection
3. App scans

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens, the application does not scan my folders, and I cannot seem to add tracks either.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should scan my music directory and find the files within and use the embedded meta info to add them to the correct albums and artists.

I found the file indexing setting in the preferences and changed it to direct indexing and everything started working. But, why doesn't it work with the standard indexer? What other information can I provide to help you with this?
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2021-11-23 19:26:09 UTC
Do you have Baloo file indexing disabled systemwide?
