Created attachment 143573 [details] Top left: Dolphin "folder property" dialog, Top right: Desktop context menu, Bottom: Spectacle SUMMARY For quiet some time now I experience very tiny icons for buttons in dialog and context menu windows. The button icons for "normal" windows look fine though. I use * Icons set: Breeze dark * Icon sizes: Default * Scaling: 2.0 and also tried to empty the local cache folder ("~/.cache/") w/o success. Please see the screenshot. Created attachment 143577 [details] Fedora: Top left: Desktop context menu, Top right: Dolphin file property window, Bottom right: Taskbar context menu, Bottom left: Dolphin context menu Partly I could reproduce it on Fedora 35, which I use on a system with a smaller screen but other than that, with the same scaling and same settings. Partly, because in Fedora the icon sizes of the file/folder property dialog in Dolphin looked already fine. However, I could fix that in openSUSE TW now (somehow) by changing icon set to some other set and back to Breeze dark. Unfortunately, this "trick" did not help for the icons of the context menus of the plasma desktop.
Created attachment 143578 [details] Screenshot (Fedora): Create new folder on the desktop and folder property dialog with tiny icons Both on Fedora 35 and openSUSE TW the icons look also bad during all the following steps 1) Right click on the desktop 2) in the context menu: "create new folder" 3) Right click on the folder and choose "properties" especially in contrast to doing the same steps in Dolphin.
To me it looks like it's a `scaling bug`, i.e. the scaling factor 2.0 is not applied at some places for some reasons.
