SUMMARY

2 days ago many KDE packages were upgraded to 5.88. Now when I press the application menu button and start navigating through applications the plasma shell crashes

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  login
2.  open application menu
3. scroll through packages


OBSERVED RESULT
plasmashell crashes

EXPECTED RESULT
plasmashell does not crash

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Arch with 5.15 kernel
KDE Plasma Version:  5.23.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88
Qt Version: 5.15.2

this did not happen with 5.87 packages. If required I can provide additional logs or try to install packages with symbols for more verbose logging
