Description Vaso 2021-11-10 19:27:21 UTC
Current situation with import from Android devices is quite awkward.
Import module by default syncs a lot of junks such as call records, images from applications (e.g. Whatsapp) and other trash.

What it is impossible to do now:
1. Skip from the import an undesirable directory
2. Collapse directories content (you have to scroll hundreds of images to reach the next directory)
3. Preserve the directory structure (e.g. if I choose for import _Directory-1_ & _Directory-2_, then assign the destination album _My-Phone_, all images will be imported in this album without creating corresponding sub albums (sub directories ))
4. Remember this settings for future imports.

It would be nice to manage these things via Device Profiles which should contain setting *WHAT* and *WHERE* I want to import.

Yes, we can do anything. I often only filter for JPG files in the status bar with one click. With that the majority is already removed, for the view I set the grouping to directory, then you quickly have the camera folder and the images all together. Such a desired filter function would be pointless for iPhone anyway, since only the camera folder is visible.
