SUMMARY Wake the screen and show the password prompt when the backspace key is pressed STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. lock the screen 2. press the backspace key 3. nothing appears (except confusion) OBSERVED RESULT The screen stays off and the password prompt does not appear EXPECTED RESULT The prompt for the entering the password should appear (it happens with the escape, shift or control keys). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.22.5 (Kubuntu Impish) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I do not always lock my screen, and I usually have a terminal running. Typing the password directly can accidentally enter it in unwanted apps, so I press the backspace key instead (which works on many other systems and screen lockers). While the backspace is really the one that I miss, I believe that any other key should also activate the screen locker.
Is this still happening to you in Plasma 5.27? And if it is, can you confirm that you're using the Breeze Plasma theme and not some other one?
