SUMMARY Adjusting the length of a Wipe transition does not have the proper effect. In particular, the effective duration is not consistent with the length of the transition. In version 21.04.1 (appimage), the issue DOES NOT occur. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Insert two videos with overlap. 2. Add wipe transition and play. Looks good. 3. Extend the length of the Wipe. The smooth dissolve still ends as if the effect would have the length of step 2. 4. Shorten the length of the Wipe being shorter then in step 2. There is now a sudden transition from one video to the other. Again, it looks as if the transition still has the length at step 2. But because the actual length is shorter now, the transition cannot fully finish. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Using the appimage in openSUSE 15.2.
