Description Jack 2021-11-02 20:32:46 UTC
SUMMARY
If you create a new account, but do not select a Parent Account on the third page of the wizard, when you hit Next and then Finish, you get the error "Unable to create account: Unknown parent account in .../storage/mymoneystoragemgr.cpp:397"

It would be much better to disable "Next" on that page of the wizard until a Parent Account is actually selected. I almost called this a wishlist, but the title says the page allows you to select a parent, when it actually requires one to be selected, and although the error message is technically correct, it is not obvious to a naive user what it actually means.

Very annoying message followed me since upgrading from stable 5.0.8 (It seems that 5.0.8 not affected but I may be wrong).
