SUMMARY
Tested with existing data, after clearing data and fresh install from fdroid (Kasts version 0.1 released on Nov 2nd). No crash observed on Desktop using latest git version,

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start the app

OBSERVED RESULT
UI is shown momentarily and then kasts crashed

EXPECTED RESULT
App launches correctly

Additional Information:
I am willing to provide any debug logs if required.

Thanks for reporting.

This should be solved now on the master branch.  The KDE binary factory build has already been updated.  I'm not sure when it will propagate to f-droid nightly, but it should, in principle, be solved by tomorrow latest.

Fdroid was updated with the latest apk. I am confirming crash has been fixed.
