Description Daniel 2021-11-02 15:06:57 UTC
SUMMARY
Plasma crashes after login when user is switched in a certain way.
I am using the german version, therefore I will use the german terms for the Buttons, I will try translating these buttons into english, but I am not sure it is the official labeling. I hope I am reporting to the right product and component.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go into Standby or restart your Compute
2. Press "Benutzer wechseln" (switch user)
3. Press "Weitere" (More)
4. Press "Benutzer anzeigen" (show users) and log in
5. While loading Plasma Manjaro Hello Opens
6. Plasma stops loading and crashes, the mouse is still moveable

OBSERVED RESULT
Plasma does not load properly and crashes, a restart is necessary

EXPECTED RESULT
Plasma should just load, no matter how often different users a chosen before logging in

I am a Linux Noob:
If I understand correctly, I have to rebuild the pkg on manjaro with the debugging option.
Which pkg do I have to rebuild and where is the report stored afterwards?
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2021-11-27 04:48:49 UTC
I don't know; these would be questions for the Manjaro folks.
