I love how vaults work as of today. Would it be possible to add cryptomator compatibility? (i.e. adding a new backend -do not know if that's feasible or not)

That would make it really easy to collaborate with people who do not use kde or even Linux (i.e. Windows' users), which is most of the people I work with today.

Two downsides of cryptomator:

- No packages in most important distributions - Debian, Ubuntu, openSUSE (available user-created packages for some)
- Java-based - Java applications are notorious for being sensitive to the user environment

Can you explain what you mean with this? My experience is quite the opposite... naturally, with the JVM being designed as cross-platform runtime.
