SUMMARY I'm creating for all of my videos proxies with a python script with the prefix _proxy720p.MP4. When importing all the video into Kdenlive and setting for all the checkbox for proxy file at once. It takes forever to create the proxy. When I'm trying to abort the jobs, Kdenlive does not react anymore and I have to kill it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Having multiple videos with proxies as in the external proxies file like Movie1.MP4/Movie1_proxy720p.MP4 2. Replace the externalproxies.rc file in /usr/share/Kdenlive by the content from below 3. Create a new project 4. Import all videos 5. Select all videos 6. Rightclick and set "Proxy file" 7. Try to abort job OBSERVED RESULT Kdenlive stucks EXPECTED RESULT Is really fast to set the proxies for all the videos, because they already exist. Seems to be solved in 21.08.3 i have to test it with my project again
Please try with the AppImage as well https://kdenlive.org/en/download/ to see if this is a packaging issue.
