SUMMARY

My system no longer displays an representation of an html file in the Information Panel

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Dolphin
2. Navigate to View -> Show Panels
3. Ensure that the Information Panel checkbox is selected
4. Navigate to Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> Previews
5. Ensure that the "Web Archives and HTML" check box is selected
6. Navigate to a folder containing an html file
7. Select the html file
 

OBSERVED RESULT

Should see the information panel on the right
A grey document with a folded top right corner is displayed in the Information Panel 


EXPECTED RESULT

Should see the information panel on the right
A thumbnail of the actual html document should be displayed in the Information Panel

Tracked down the problem as being in my .local directory though strangely not in the dolphin section.
