Description pitchtheripoff25 2021-10-29 17:42:59 UTC
SUMMARY
Editing the system monitor applets to, for example, show text instead of a graph causes the desktop to crash and restart.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enter edit mode by right clicking on desktop
2. Edit a system monitor applet by clicking on the settings icon when hovering over it in edit mode
3. Change look in the settings [for example to text mode]
4. Press OK

OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop crashes and restarts, still saving changes

EXPECTED RESULT
The system just saves changes to the applet

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0
Qt Version: 5.12.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Trying to report via DrKonqi causes it to just show the desktop before the crash and remain unresponsive unless logging out
