Created attachment 142939 [details] Reproduction steps SUMMARY Windows minimize and restore to a panel that no longer exists STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new Kubuntu default panel on the top of the screen 2. Delete this panel right after creating it. 3. Try to minimize or restore an application OBSERVED RESULT When minimizing or restoring, the window animates to the top of the screen where the panel used to be. EXPECTED RESULT The window should animate to the correct panel, as the panel on top no longer exists. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 21.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
After you delete it, is the notification that lets you undo deleting it still visible? Or did you close the undo notification. If it was still visible, does the problem go away after you close that undo notification?
The undo notification is visible after deleting the panel. The issue still occurs after closing the notification.
Hmm, that wasn't what I was expecting. :/
I still can't reproduce this, now in Plasma 6 Wayland. Can I ask you to re-test in Plasma 5.27 to see if it's fixed for you now? Thanks!
