Created attachment 142898 [details] Shadow not shown by system tray See the attached screenshot. The shadow will reappear if I move it to another side of the screen (or restart plasmashell). Happens with all plasma styles I've tried including default breeze.
I forgot to mention that it might be caused by connecting/disconnecting an external display of higher resolution (1440p vs 1080p). Perhaps the shadow's only going as far as the lower res. display extends--I haven't carefully checked but will keep an eye on it.

Can you detail the setup of your screens before and after the shadows disappeared. `ksreen-doctor -o` for instance
It does seem to be caused by switching from 1440p to 1080p, back to 1440p, but I can't consistently reproduce it. The output of "kscreen-doctor -o" before and after the shadow disappears is the same: kscreen-doctor -o Output: 1 Chimei Innolux Corporation eDP-1-unknown disabled connected Panel Modes: 0:1680x1050@60 1:1280x1024@60 2:1440x900@60 3:1280x800@60 4:1280x720@60 5:1024x768@60 6:800x600@60 7:640x480@60 8:1920x1080@60*!
