SUMMARY Recently I had to remove the battery of my laptop. Now when I connect my external monitor and close the lid of the lapto it always go to sleep. I am using Wayland. I am running arch linux. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Remover your laptop battery 2. Connect external monitor 3. Close the laptop lid. OBSERVED RESULT Laptop goes to sleep. EXPECTED RESULT Stay open. Doesn't the XPS have a non-removable battery? Is this a hardware configuration that Dell supports?
