SUMMARY a real life scenario: 1. you change the font in one of your titles / subtitles 2. you realize that you should change all instances, globally (al subtitles, for example) what happens: you roll your sleeve and get to it :) what could happen in the future: you change the font in one subtle... and tick a box: change all instances .. blah-blah-blah... - - - - I know that this suggestion could lead to far away... to as far as creating styles, or even styles being automatically created... like style 1, style 2... which would "force" the user to think consciously about styles... like, being posed the question: you want the same font and the same style as in title "my stupid title" ? and if "yes" is the answer, a style would be created... and be available at font selection / style selection from then on... and "font family" could be an option too... like, the question would go like: "would you like to use the same font family in this title? |checkbox| or even the same style? |checkbox| .... and thus styles could be created and handled throughout the project... including that "CSS" or "style package" could be exported / imported... . . . and "project family" or "master project" or "project group" could be established... and opted when creating a new project... which would ALSO mean a common styles and titles management... to start with.. and clips being shareable / easily accessible / globally manageable ___________ I'm sure that at least some of this has been already made... for example, in the title editing window: "open document" / "save as"... and I'm sure that what I suggest is totally obvious... yet I had to bring it up :) - - - thank you for developing kdenlive, the best PRO video editor - - -
General font settings in the title tool are not foreseen. Font management for subtitles comes with version 24.12. You can try it out with the latest master: https://cdn.kde.org/ci-builds/multimedia/kdenlive/master/linux/ Is that what you expect?
