Created attachment 142758 [details] Screenshot I have no idea why this ended up happening. I've emptied the trash a few times today from Dolphin, then from Krusader, I attempted to delete two files. Got this weird error message.
Sorry, not "then from Krusader". In a new instance of Dolphin rather.
I can reproduce this as described in #446450: 1. Launch SMPlayer 2. Open -> File 3. Attempt to delete a file from that dialog
I had the same issue, but in my case it was a user error. While migrating my home folder to another OS installation, I accidentally break the `~/.local/share/Trash` folder: its contents became incomplete, and some files there ended up being owned by the `root` user. Simply removing `~/.local/share/Trash` and restarting Dolphin fixed the issue for me.
Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Dolphin 25.12.0.
