Description David 2021-10-20 20:42:57 UTC
SUMMARY
If I set the total CPU usage to display a line chart, it will not display the usage percent on top of that chart like such a setting would do in the resources monitor app.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add the "Total CPU usage" widget to a panel.
2. Right click it, select "Configure system monitor sensor" -> "Appearance" -> "Display style" -> "Line chart".
3. Watch the widget.

OBSERVED RESULT
Displays a line chart, but no percentage numbers on top.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should display a line chart with percentage numbers on top.

Can confirm. The "Show Sensors Legend" checkbox is checked on the "Line Chart Details" page, but it doesn't seem to be having the effect of showing a legend that I would expect.

In my experience the Appearance settings for this type of widget do not seem to update properly. I can enable / disable them all and nothing changes when I apply. You can force an update by checking / unchecking the Y data ranges box (it may have to be different than the standard values, not sure).

Unfortunately there's still a lot of typical KDE jank / small bugs regarding widgets.
