STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. use Wayland 2. open Konsole 3. if Konsole window is not maximized, maximize it 4. click on window decoration of Konsole and drag the window down: the button in window decoration indicates that Konsole window is no longer maximized 5. click on "Maximize" button in window decoration (or try to maximize Konsole window with double click on window decoration) OBSERVED RESULT nothing happens, Konsole window is not maximized EXPECTED RESULT Konsole window should be maximized SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Can't reproduce. Do you have any window rules? if so, please attach your .config/kwinrulesrc to the bug report
I'm using neon unstable right now. I can reproduce the descrided behavior when I use my main user account with the attached window rules. I'm unable to reproduce using another user account with no window rule. Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Graphics Platform: Wayland

I imported your window rules, but still can't reproduce the bug. It will be helpful to have WAYLAND_DEBUG log output. Can you run konsole with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 environment variable, maximize konsole and unmaximize it, and post the output here?

Cannot reproduce with Plasma 5.24 beta on Arch Linux.
