SUMMARY
Discover freezes when I open the flatpakref file of Blender downlaoded from flathub. However, I'm unable to reproduce by opening the flatpakref file of Lollypop music player also from flathub, for example.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. download flatpakref file of Blener by clicking on "Install..." button
https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.blender.Blender
2. open the downloaded file with Discover
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Discover freezes. Window decoration says "Not responding...".

EXPECTED RESULT
Discover should not freeze

That file doesn't freeze Discover for me, but it does fail to load it and shows "Loading..." forever.

if you mimimize and unminimize Discover, it does not say "Not responding" in
window decoration?

Nope, the app remains responsive.

it's still happening on neon unstable and Arch running Plasma 5.24 beta. But I can not reproduce consistently.

Do you have flathub added?

Discover 5.24 beta froze again on Arch.
Konsole repeatedly prints this error while Discover is frozen:
