SUMMARY The new window previews system can lead to situations in which the preview of some window is large enough to block part of the window title. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Get the "Thumbnail Grid" task switcher (Settings -> Window Management -> Task switcher). 2. Set a low screen resolution. 3. Open many windows of some app. 4. Trigger the task switcher (Ctrl+Tab). OBSERVED RESULT Some window previews are too large and collide with the title of the window preview. EXPECTED RESULT Should not collide with the title of the window preview, like in earlier versions when the window previews looked a bit different from current ones. Thanks.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > Thanks. I have a feeling that this is not the only place in which previews are used and probably more components would be affected.
This got fixed with the UI revamp of the thumbnail grid switcher for Plasma 6 (https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kdeplasma-addons/-/merge_requests/379) Unfortunately it was a full revamp and not a simple bugfix we can backport to 5.27.
