Created attachment 142503 [details]
after opening sound applet and clicking outside of it in browser window the applet stays visible and on top.

SUMMARY

Applets that are on the panel (in systray, calendar) can only be closed by clicking on them (=applet itself) again, and not by anywhere else - they stay on the top.

Please move to correct component if filled in wrong one, thanks!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on any applet in system tray.
2. Try closing the applet by clicking anywhere outside of the applet.

OBSERVED RESULT

Applet stays open until you click on the icon again.

EXPECTED RESULT

Applet should be closed after clicking anywhere outside of it.

looks like restarting Plasma a few times fixed the problem for now, I will reopen if I can reproduce persistently.
