SUMMARY
When entering a wrong password the login and lock screen behaves differently. The lock screen clear the password box. The login screen does not, it just preselects the wrong password so you can type over it. This always trips me mentally when I accidentally mistype my password.

EXPECTED RESULT
Anything, just be consistent.

This appears to have been fixed for Plasma 5.25.
