SUMMARY git d65c3f4 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Draw something. 2. Set zoom level to over 50%(e.g: 67%) > HSV adjustment filter > play with parameters. 3. Set zoom level to under 50%(e.g: 33%) > HSV adjustment filter > play with parameters. OBSERVED RESULT Krita shows slower preview on the case 2, in comparison to the case 3. EXPECTED RESULT There should be no difference. (or, it should be even faster when the canvas is zoomed in, in my personal opinion). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Win7 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Edit : the os is Win10, not Win7.
It's much easily observable when the layer size is big.
Is this due to instant preview stuff? Checking that option in menu > view seems irrevelant on this.
Hi, acc4commissions! That is expected behavior and it is related to the settings in Preferences->Performance->Instant Preview. When you apply filters on zoom levels below 50%, Instant Preview is used. Since recently, Instant Preview will also be activated even when you have it disabled in View->Instant Preview. This behavior can be disabled in Preferences->Performance->Instant Preview
