SUMMARY
Given the increasing prevalence and adoption of ASiC-E containers in EU for digitally signing files, it would be nice if Ark could display such information from containers.

Initial support doesn't even have to be viewing encrypted contents, just viewing the signatures would be fine.

There are also libraries out there that can offload some of the heavier lifting.

ASiC-E support might also attract some attention by the EU or government agencies in terms of adopting Linux or supporting FOSS efforts, but I digress.
