When opening digikam, I get the following pop-up error: There are two actions (Open Command Bar, Add Images...) that want to use the same shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+I). This is most probably a bug. Please report it in bugs.kde.org I have not changed myself these shortcuts, so I am assuming this is a mismatch in the configuration when digikam was upgraded from one version to another. Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian sid KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 digiKam 7.1.0
This bug report is already a multiple duplicate. No, it's not digiKam's fault, because digiKam has been using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+ALT+I to add images for a long time. The reason is that the developers of a KF5 component (KXMLGui) have recently started using the keyboard shortcut. So that the guys from the framework don't use a new keyboard shortcut again, which may then affect other programs, we have changed the keyboard shortcut. Just set ALT+SHIFT+I Maik *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 438878 ***
What I always don't understand about Debian or derivatives is that they deliver a fairly up-to-date KF5 version. But use an old version of digiKam. Maik
