Description Razvan N. 2021-10-10 08:36:13 UTC
SUMMARY
The dock shows up but none of the icons are clickable. Its behaviour is also very unpredictable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install dock using 'sudo pacman -S latte-dock'
2. Launch dock from either terminal or Kickoff

OBSERVED RESULT
When I try to click the icons, the dock disappears and my click is registered to the active app (ex. if i try to right click on the dock with chromium active, the dock hides and the chromium right click menu shows up).

EXPECTED RESULT
Being able to click on the dock and utilize it normally

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The same behaviour is observed with latte-dock-git and the version compiled from source
Comment 1 Michail Vourlakos 2021-10-16 20:41:48 UTC
for me the dock works just fine... we need a specific way to reproduce this in other systems also...
Comment 2 Razvan N. 2021-10-17 14:14:18 UTC
I might as well say that on Wayland it works as expected. The problem only exists on X11
Comment 3 Razvan N. 2021-10-17 14:25:23 UTC
suspiciously enough, whenever using the -r option to replace the dock, it works fine (but only for the first click)
