Description harald.aust 2021-10-05 12:38:20 UTC
SUMMARY
This seems to be related to very old bug ID 162245.

When assigning a tag from the "Recent Tags" list while "Tags already assigned" is active, it does not show up in the tags panel before you press "Apply". This is inconsistent behavior:

- If you do not select the tag from the "Recent Tags" list but enter it in the "Enter tag here" field, it *does* show up after pressing [Enter].
- If you select a new tag, no matter whether from the "Recent Tags" list or in the "Enter tag here" field, while "Tags already assigned" is *not* enabled, the new tag will be checked in the tags list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a picture.
2. On the right panel, select Captions and then Tags.
3. Enable "Tags already assigned".
4. Select a tag from "Recent tags" list.

OBSERVED RESULT
Tags displayed for the picture remain unchanged.

EXPECTED RESULT
Selected tag is added to the displayed tags.

I don't see any difference between the slide show and the presentation in terms of the sharpness of the images. Do you use the OpenGL mode in the presentation? If so, under extended there is an option for OpenGL to use the full screen resolution.
